Fear

fear is chaos
it attacks
you rooting you to the spot
it kills you
on the inside
it takes over the out Your mind goes into chaos
it disables your senses
you try to scream
nothing comes out
you try to run but you can't
 bravery fights black
but it doesn't prevail
you fall into darkness
cowering at every sound

My Thoughts

a lot of poets carry a note book with them for sudden ideas but I don't and when I get and idea i write it on a random scrap or my arm but a lot of the time I keep it in my mind till I get home and constently revise it in my mind. After i write a poem I keep it in a little moleskin journal and some days i'll just read poems I wrote and think about them. one poem I wrote I wrote it and revised it for three years and that one is the "Rollercoaster."

Parker A. Brown
i sort of have a bad connotation of riming poem because when I was younger I would listen to Jack Palusky because to me his poems don't really have a meaning
My favorite poet is Robert Frost

rollercoaster

It goes up
and down
and twists around,
you can never predict it
no matter how hard you try.

After a while it comes
to a stop
so some people
get on and some get off,
but the ones who love stay.

And after a while
the gears break down
and the wheels screech
and then it comes to a stop,
never to move
again

Charge for glory

you charge for glory love and life
you think you're invincible
you're hit you fall
more come to take your place

Happiness

Happiness is a sudden taste
of the peace, love, and joy in this world
expressed through the actions of another.

To feel joy is to the very essence of life circulating
and pouring through the body
and filling your heart with
the world

Chaos

you feel the intensity of the people around you,
all you see is a blur of colors swirling around you
with noise like a waterfall times ten.
yet all you hear is your footsteps and the calming voice of
you.

A Soldier's Tale

I hear the shot
I feel my legs crumple
I see red liquid drip down from  hole in my uniform.
I pray for mercy.
I pray to live, even though the innocent souls I shot did not.

I say I will never kill again,
though the damage is done.
I ask for a second chance,
but none comes.

I pray for my wife and baby
as I fall away from life into death,
unaware that 10 years from now my son will sit by my grave
and wonder about the father he never had.
